About the Business
Our System Stewardship Directorate is responsible for policy, strategy and innovation projects that support the Child and Family Support System by working inclusively with sector partners and across the Division.
Role Details
The Senior Project Officer is a role within System Stewardship and is accountable to the Manager, Strategy, Policy and Innovation for:
• providing authoritative advice on early intervention priorities and strategies for the child and family support system and contributing to the development and implementation of cross-agency initiatives
• developing, implementing and evaluating significant projects and programs that align to major, complex policy issues based on proven evidence and contemporary service design and research
• consulting and liaising with key stakeholders to maintain effective collaborations and a network of strategic alliances across government.
Special Conditions
National Police Check required.
Employment-related Screening Check required.
Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
Must hold a current Australian issued driver’s licence (equivalent to minimum class C).
Must comply with any order, direction, policy or procedure of the Chief Executive or delegate to receive vaccinations.
Duration: Term up to twelve (12) months.

Screening Checks
If you are new to the department and are invited to an interview, you will be required to produce a National Police Check,
which has been issued within six months of your application for the role. National Police Checks can be applied for via the
South Australia Police
or through an Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission accredited body.
If the role you are applying for also requires an Employment-related Screening Check, you will be required to undergo such assessment as is advised by DHS,
including periodic assessment during your employment.
