About the Business

Our Disability and Specialised Services (DaSS) Division delivers essential support to South Australians through high-quality NDIS services, sector reform, inclusion-focused policy. We provide direct disability supports through Supported Independent Living, and specialised care through the Exceptional Needs Unit, Clinical Services, the Equipment Program and Northgate Aged Care services. Our work is strengthened by Corporate and Engagement teams, ensuring strong governance, quality, and positive outcomes for people we support. 

Role Details

The Principal Policy Officer is a role within Disability and Specialised Services and is accountable to the General Manager, Exceptional Needs Unit (ENU) for:
• leading the development of complex policy and program initiatives by applying advanced discipline expertise to support government and divisional priorities
• conducting high‑level analysis and research to identify emerging trends and provide strategic advice that informs evidence‑based service and system improvements
• building and maintaining collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to understand service needs and support the implementation of significant agency or government reforms.

Special Conditions

National Police Check required.
Some out of hours work may be required.
Duration: Term up to twelve (12) months
