About the Business
Our Screening Transformation team is leading a major program of work to reform the processes and systems of the DHS Screening Unit by working collaboratively with other departmental teams, as well as key stakeholders across the public and private sector.
Role Details
The Screening Transformation Program is seeking Expressions of Interest for a Product Owner (ASO6) to support delivery of Phase 2 of the project.
This role combines Product Owner and project support responsibilities, working closely with business stakeholders, the project team and delivery partners to ensure enhancements are prioritised, delivered and aligned with business requirements.
Key responsibilities include managing and prioritising the product backlog, facilitating requirements gathering, supporting project planning and reporting, and driving continuous improvement of the Screening solution. This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering the next phase of the Screening Transformation Program and improving outcomes for customers and business users. Prior experience with the SA Screening system, Agile delivery and stakeholder engagement will be highly regarded.
Special Conditions

Duration: Term up to three (3) months.

Screening Checks
If you are new to the department and are invited to an interview, you will be required to produce a National Police Check,
which has been issued within six months of your application for the role. National Police Checks can be applied for via the
South Australia Police
or through an Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission accredited body.
If the role you are applying for also requires an Employment-related Screening Check, you will be required to undergo such assessment as is advised by DHS,
including periodic assessment during your employment.
