About the Business

Our System Stewardship Directorate is responsible for policy, strategy and innovation projects that support the Child and Family Support System by working inclusively with sector partners and across the Division. 

Role Details

The Manager, Strategy, Policy and Innovation is a role in System Stewardship and is accountable to the General Manager, Strategy, Policy and System Stewardship for:
• leading and managing authoritative advice on early intervention priorities and strategies for the child protection system and leading the development of cross-agency initiatives
• providing strategic leadership in the development of proposals on major, complex policy issues based on proven evidence and contemporary service design and research
• establishing, leading and developing effective collaborations and a network of strategic alliances with key stakeholders across government
• providing effective leadership and management to the team, including the development of relevant skills and capabilities.

Special Conditions

National Police Check required.
Employment-related Screening Check required.
Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
Must hold a current Australian issued driver’s licence (equivalent to minimum class C).
Duration: Term up to four (4) months with possibility of extension.
