About the Business

Our Disability and Specialised Services Division provides valuable support to the South Australian community through direct service delivery, inclusion policy and sector reform work. As a registered NDIS provider, they provide SIL services that supervise and help with everyday tasks to support people living with disability to live as independently as possible. The Division also encompasses quality and clinical services and the DHS Equipment Program. 

Role Details

This is an exceptional opportunity for a strategic and visionary leader to shape the future of disability services in South Australia.

As Director, Corporate Services and Client Engagement, you will play a pivotal role in leading system reform, enhancing service delivery, and driving innovation across the Disability and Specialised Services Division. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will oversee corporate functions and client engagement strategies that deliver person-centred, high-quality outcomes aligned with departmental priorities and NDIS standards.

Key Responsibilities
• lead major reforms and provide expert strategic advice to executive leadership
• oversee corporate services including planning, intake, rostering, billing, and service agreements
• drive innovation through a high-performing team focused on co-designing practical, person-centred solutions
• ensure compliance with the NDIS Practice Standards, Code of Conduct, and relevant legislation
• foster a culture of accountability, inquiry, and continuous improvement
• deliver high-quality executive reporting and strategic planning aligned with departmental priorities
• build strong partnerships across government, community, and the disability sector.

About You
You are a dynamic leader with:
• proven experience in strategic leadership, organisational transformation, and stakeholder engagement
• deep understanding of the human services sector and government policy frameworks
• strong governance, risk management, and performance monitoring capabilities
• exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at executive and ministerial levels
• a commitment to inclusive, person-centred service delivery.

Special Conditions

National Police Check required.
Employment-related Screening Check required.
Some out of hours work may be required.
Must hold a current Australian issued driver’s licence (equivalent to minimum class C).
Role Status: Term up to three (3) years.
