About the Business

The Office for Women is reponsible for the Domestic and Family Violence Safety Alliance and works across government and community towards achieving gender equity and positive change for women in South Australia. The Office develops policy and provides advice on issues affecting women to improve their safety, wellbeing and economic security.

Role Details

The Project Officer – Training and Program Development Coordinator is a role within Women’s Information Service (WIS) and is accountable to the WIS Coordinator, for:
• contributing to the development of and deliver the WIS volunteer training program
• contribute to the design, implementation, monitoring and review of projects, as required
• assisting with developing and continuous improvement of WIS services
• contributing to the provision of comprehensive and timely policy advice for the Minister, Chief Executive, Executive Director and other senior officers on a broad range of complex issues
• undertaking research, data collection and report writing.

Special Conditions

Some out of hours work may be required.
Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
Must hold a current Australian issued driver’s licence (equivalent to minimum class C).
