About the Business
Our Digital, Data and Technology team is responsible for enabling the department to deliver its services through the provision and governance of information management, systems, data and technology. Their goal is to provide our workforce with the tools they need to do their jobs effectively, while making it simpler for the community to access the information they need.
Role Details
The Product Owner is within Digital Solutions team and is accountable to the Manager, Digital Solutions to:
• provide subject matter expertise, working closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure that the product architecture, workflows, integrations, and functionality meet quality, compliance and security standards
• collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, service desk and business units, to gather requirements and deliver features that meet user and business needs
• manage the product backlog, prioritise enhancements and fixes, and make informed decisions on feature development, enhancements, and fixes based on business value, user feedback, and technical feasibility
• ensure continuous improvement and product meets organisational service delivery, performance, and support requirements. It performs efficiently, scales effectively, and meets accessibility, security, and compliance standards.
Special Conditions
National Police Check required.
Duration: Term up to two (2) years.

Screening Checks
If you are new to the department and are invited to an interview, you will be required to produce a National Police Check,
which has been issued within six months of your application for the role. National Police Checks can be applied for via the
South Australia Police
or through an Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission accredited body.
If the role you are applying for also requires an Employment-related Screening Check, you will be required to undergo such assessment as is advised by DHS,
including periodic assessment during your employment.
