About the Role
Looking for
nursing work where your skills can make a real difference?
The Department of Human Services (DHS), Disability Services, is seeking skilled
and compassionate Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses to deliver safe,
person-centred care to people with disability, including clients with complex
health and high-intensity daily support requirements.
Working
across Parkside and other locations, you will support clients to maintain their
health, safety, dignity and independence.
Registered Nurses are responsible for clinical assessment, care oversight and
the delegation of nursing care, while Enrolled Nurses provide care within their
scope of practice under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered
Nurse.
These are
casual opportunities, with shifts offered as service needs arise. Shift days
and times may vary, and there is no guaranteed pattern or minimum number of
hours.
Positions are classified RN1 and END; the applicable salary increment will be
determined through assessment of supporting evidence of relevant experience and
qualifications, in accordance with employment arrangements.
About You
You combine
sound clinical judgement with empathy, adaptability and a strong commitment to
client choice and wellbeing.
You are confident responding to complex care needs, communicating with diverse
people and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
You will bring:

provide safe nursing care to people with complex health or high-intensity daily
support needs, within your scope of practice.

is strongly preferred for Registered Nurse applicants and highly regarded for
Enrolled Nurse applicants; disability services experience is also valued.
Ability to communicate
effectively with clients, families, carers and disability support workers, and
maintain clear clinical records.
A reliable, flexible
approach to casual shifts, with the ability to respond calmly to changing
support needs.

clients’ assessed needs and supports their dignity, choice and wellbeing.
Recognise, monitor, document and escalate changes in clinical condition,
risks and care needs in line with your professional responsibilities.

For Registered Nurses: provide clinical oversight, appropriate
