About the Business

Our Child and Family Support division provides stewardship and service delivery for the Child and Family Support System, designed to help children and their families with early targeted assistance to reduce incidents of child maltreatment and prevent children entering the child protection system.

Role Details

The Workshop Coordinator is a role within Child and Family Support and is accountable to the Team Leader, Family Support Services:
• Providing leadership and line management to Workshop Facilitators within Families Growing Together.
• Engaging with stakeholders to coordinate workshop bookings including monitor and manage workshop budgets.
• Facilitating the delivery of high-quality parenting and family support workshops, ensuring alignment with departmental objectives and contributing to the team’s strategic goals.
• Developing program visions, goals, outcomes and priorities within the framework of the Department’s corporate plans and objectives.

Special Conditions

National Police Check required.
Employment-related Screening Check required.
Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
Must hold a current Australian issued driver’s licence (equivalent to minimum class C).
Must comply with any order, direction, policy or procedure of the Chief Executive or delegate to receive vaccinations.
Role Status: Term up to 15/05/2026.
