About the Business

Our Finance, Digital and Customer Support Division oversees the department's budget and financial compliance responsibilities, its infrastructure and assets portfolio, as well as procurement and quality assurance functions, digital, data and technology and screening and financial transformation programs. They provide support and strategic advice across the department regarding a range of DHS goals, systems and processes. 

Role Details

Business Services within Infrastructure are seeking expressions of interest for a Project Manager EDRMS (ASO7).

This is an exciting short-term contract opportunity of approximately 4 months, commencing in August.

Role Overview

The Project Manager EDMRS is a role within Infrastructure and is accountable to the Manager, Business Services. 

During this period the Project Manager, EDRMS will oversee the work to implement Objective application and process improvements with a focus on the business case to move to the cloud version of Objective Nexus, as well as application changes. There will also be ongoing process improvements requiring effective change management.

Key accountabilities include: 

• Lead complex enterprise-wide projects including kick off, developing business cases for funding approval, detailed planning, delivery, and monitoring, as well as integrating change management in accordance with the DHS Project Management and Change Management Handbooks
• 
Work collaboratively to develop effective working relationships with staff and stakeholders in order to deliver quality and timely communications and services
 Deliver business systems and processes that support operational requirements and meet legislative and contractual requirements
• 
Develop and lead staff by fostering a team environment through information sharing, identifying resources and support needs.

Special Conditions

National Police Check required.
Employment-related Screening Check required.
Some out of hours work may be required.
Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
Duration: Term up to three (3) months.
