About the Business

Our Inclusion, Supports and Safeguarding Division brings together policy and reform advice, while helping those experiencing vulnerability to participate safely and securely in our economy and remain connected with the community. It also provides grants to community groups and non-government organisations to expand services to support people and offers interpreting services in 110 languages, including several First Nations. 

Role Details

The Customer Service Officer is a role within Community Investment and Support/Screening Unit and is accountable to the Manager, Customer and Business Services for:
• accurately recording, matching and reviewing information relating to applicants and organisations to support efficient processing of screening applications
• providing accurate, responsive and timely customer services to applicants and organisations
• contacting applicants and organisations (via telephone and email) to follow up queries, requests for further information and payments.

Special Conditions

• National Police Check required.
• Employment-related Screening Check required.
• Role Status: Term up to 31/12/2025.
