About the Business

Our Finance, Digital and Customer Support Division oversees the department's budget and financial compliance responsibilities, its infrastructure and assets portfolio, as well as procurement and quality assurance functions, digital, data and technology and screening and financial transformation programs. They provide support and strategic advice across the department regarding a range of DHS goals, systems and processes. 

Role Details

The Senior Procurement and Grants Adviser is a role within Finance, Digital and Customer Support and is accountable to the Manager, Procurement and Grants for:
Providing leadership and support to all members of the Procurement and Grants team, supporting Business Units achieve maximum value and benefit from their contracting and procurement activities/strategies, providing a high-quality advisory and consultancy service on a range of procurement and/or grants management matters to relevant stakeholders, contributing to the achievement of identified contractual outcomes and protecting the operational, legal and financial interests of DHS at all times and initiating, developing, implementing and evaluating procurement strategies, programs, projects and policies.

There are two opportunities available for this role, a Term Contract up to March 2027 and an Ongoing Contract.

Special Conditions

National Police Check required.
Two positions available - Term up to eleven (11) months and Ongoing.
