About the Business

The Office for the Prevention of Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence is a dedicated unit established to lead the whole-of government engagement with, and response to, the Royal Commission into Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence. This involves coordinating functions that include sector engagement and supporting lived-experience participation. 

Role Details

The Principal Policy and Project Officer is a role within the Office for Prevention DFSV and is accountable to the Manager, DFSV Strategy and Learning System for:
Leading the Department’s implementation of relevant accepted recommendations from the Royal Commission into DFSV to ensure all legal, policy and governance obligations are met, leading the development of key infrastructure to support continuous learning between system components and stakeholders, including mechanisms for data and knowledge sharing and analysis and communities of practice spanning multiple facets of the DFSV landscape in South Australia, delivering high-quality strategic policy and project design, implementation and evaluation and monitoring emerging research and issues in the DFSV space, identifying implications and providing high-level advice.
