About the Business
The Office for the Prevention of Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence is a dedicated unit established to lead the whole-of government engagement with, and response to, the Royal Commission into Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence. This involves coordinating functions that include sector engagement and supporting lived-experience participation.
Role Details
The Manager, Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV) Engagement and Partnerships is a role within Women’s Equality and DFSV System Reform and is accountable to the Director, Office for the Prevention of DFSV for:
Providing leadership for engagement and partnerships to support implementation of Royal Commission recommendations, ensuring DFSV reform is informed by lived experience and primary prevention evidence, leading and overseeing high-level stakeholder engagement across government, non-government and community sectors to advance DFSV place-based primary prevention initiatives, embedding lived experience expertise into DFSV policy, programs and service design through advice and leadership, ensuring lived experience advice meaningfully informs, reform, prevention and system improvements and driving effective primary prevention leadership and learning by overseeing place-based and system-level initiatives that strengthen shared learning and continuous improvement.

Screening Checks
If you are new to the department and are invited to an interview, you will be required to produce a National Police Check,
which has been issued within six months of your application for the role. National Police Checks can be applied for via the
South Australia Police
or through an Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission accredited body.
If the role you are applying for also requires an Employment-related Screening Check, you will be required to undergo such assessment as is advised by DHS,
including periodic assessment during your employment.
