About the Business
The Community and Partnerships division delivers a wide range of funding, programs and strategic initiatives that strengthen the capacity and wellbeing of South Australian communities. This includes oversight of Grants SA, Community Programs and Partnerships, Gambling Harm Support SA and Community Connections.
While this role is based with Community and Partnerships, it works across the Department for Human Services (DHS), connecting a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
Role Details
As the Product
Owner for the Funding Central system, you’ll shape and steward a platform that
sits at the heart of how DHS partners with the community sector.
If you’re
passionate about great product design, thoughtful governance, and bringing
people on the journey—this is a role where your work will matter every single
day.
In this role,
you’ll be the strategic lead for DHS’s Funding Central Salesforce
platform—setting the vision, defining the roadmap, and ensuring it remains
secure, compliant, and aligned with best practice funding and grant management.
You’ll guide enhancements, oversee configuration standards, and make sure every
release delivers real value for users and stakeholders.
A big part of your
work will involve building strong relationships with a wide range of
stakeholders. You’ll be the connector between end users, business leaders, and
delivery partners—translating needs, prioritising the work, and helping
everyone stay aligned.
Special Conditions

Duration: Term up to eighteen (18) months.

Screening Checks
If you are new to the department and are invited to an interview, you will be required to produce a National Police Check,
which has been issued within six months of your application for the role. National Police Checks can be applied for via the
South Australia Police
or through an Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission accredited body.
If the role you are applying for also requires an Employment-related Screening Check, you will be required to undergo such assessment as is advised by DHS,
including periodic assessment during your employment.
