About the Business
The Office for the Prevention of Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence is a dedicated unit established to lead the whole-of government engagement with, and response to, the Royal Commission into Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence. This involves coordinating functions that include sector engagement and supporting lived-experience participation.
Role Details
Reporting to the Manager, Implementation DFSV System Reform,
the Practice and Implementation Leads will apply knowledge of the DFSV sector
and systems to inform decisions, design and implementation of reform
activities. The roles will also provide leadership in development and
delivery of training to support reform activities, building sector and system
capability. Your high-level clinical knowledge and expertise in working
with children, young people and adult victim-survivors of DFSV and people who
use violence will contribute to determining project visions, goals and outcomes
and priorities within the framework of the DFSV system reform implementation
plan.

Successful applicant may be required to undertake RRHAN-EC – Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care full day/online course and the updated online course posted as required.
Successful applicant must hold a current Australian issued Driver’s Licence (equivalent to minimum class ‘C’ – South Australian)
Duration: Term up to two (2) years.
Essential Qualifications:
Incumbent should hold an appropriate Social Work qualification from a recognised tertiary institution giving eligibility for full membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers.

Screening Checks
If you are new to the department and are invited to an interview, you will be required to produce a National Police Check,
which has been issued within six months of your application for the role. National Police Checks can be applied for via the
South Australia Police
or through an Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission accredited body.
If the role you are applying for also requires an Employment-related Screening Check, you will be required to undergo such assessment as is advised by DHS,
including periodic assessment during your employment.
