Disability and Specialised Services is dedicated to delivering high-quality, rights-based services to over 1,000 South Australians. We specialise in providing NDIS, Aged Care, and State-based community and residential services. Role Details

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact and guide our organisation through a period of significant development? Disability and Specialised Services invites you to become a pivotal part of our respected and trusted service by taking on the role of Chief Operating Officer.

The Chief Operating Officer is a senior leadership role and will:
• lead effective and high-quality service delivery, enhancing the client experience, upholding workforce practice standards, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulatory frameworks across operational areas
• drive strategic initiatives that advance the strategic and operational imperatives of Disability and Specialised Services to deliver quality care and support to clients, families, and carers in alignment with the Department’s core values
• drive the implementation of the strategic plan, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring ongoing compliance with the NDIS and other regulatory requirements
• foster a high-performance culture that reflects the values of inclusion, empowerment, and respect.

Special Conditions

• National Police Check required.
• Employment-related Screening Check required.
• Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
• Must hold a current Australian issued driver’s licence (equivalent to minimum class C).
• Role Status: Term up to 30/06/2028.

Essential Qualifications:
Incumbent must hold tertiary qualifications in human services, health services, business management, economics, accounting, or a related field.
